The SciVal Research Evaluation and Analysis System covers research outcomes from 230 countries and over 12,900 research institutions worldwide. It aims to help decision-makers use empirical data to understand key research and development areas of institutions, secure R&D funding and effective allocation, seek appropriate industry partners and international collaborators, and evaluate R&D performance. It mainly includes the following three modules:
(1) Overview Academic Output Analysis Module
Institutional output analysis: allows users to view the overall academic performance of an institution, including authors, publications, citation status, partner institutions, and academic competitive advantages, presented by discipline category.
(2) Benchmarking Comparison Module
Institutional benchmark analysis allows comparison with global institutions presented in charts and tables. Comparison indicators include citation count, H-index, proportion of leading journals, industry-academia collaboration, etc., and can be analyzed by document type (such as articles, reviews, conference papers) and subject category.
(3) Collaboration analysis module
Institutional collaboration analysis allows you to understand the unit's cooperation with other organizations, including global, state, and international scopes, and evaluates co-authorship results and potential collaborators.
